Multimedia is many different forms of content put into one. For those who want to design a website their are multiple multimedia options.
- Many things such as videos, pictures and sounds are a few options for multimedia. These little features allow equilibrium to be reached in your website, enabling the viewer not to get bored or not to be overwhelmed.
Many may ask " What influences the effectiveness of each type in conveying the website message"? Well I have an answer.
- When creating a website you want to add multimedia that follows the theme of your website. If it is a flashy website add flashy pictures. If it it a mellow forest looking website don't add heavy metal music add something peaceful and serene.
When you are creating and using various multimedia in a websites, there are various thing to consider.
- As you design a website you want to consider what goes into your website. You want to think about if this is going to be a sight for kids, and if so make it simple and easy for kids to use. you always want to think about your viewers. Think about what you also want to see in your website. another thing to consider is the content. A person doesn't want to click a white page with a few words. They want something interesting, keep them interested.
I hope i was able to help as I answered these three questions!

Vocab List
Raster Image - A raster image is a structure of data representing a group of rectangular pixels. Also known as a Bitmap
Vector Image - is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygons.
Tracing - these are algorithms used in digital image processing to automatically generate tracings of objects
Rasterizing - this is when a vector image is created into a bitmap.
Anchor Point - specific part of a path that ties the path to the image.
Path - These are vector based drawings
Attribute - this provides more information to modify the meaning of a tag.
Bezier Path - when using computer graphic this is often a called a parametric curve
Crop - to trim or isolate unwanted or unneeded parts of an image.
Clipping Mask/Path - a specific part wich allows you to control the behavior of a collection of pixels

Microsoft Expression Design
These two teams are just something that represents me. I am a fan of both of these teams but I would lean more toward F.C. Barcelona. I created these image off of Microsoft Expression Design 4. This is an amazing program enabling you to put pictures together, editing them the way you want, and then send them off to where ever you want them.
